1) How long will my carpets take to dry after
cleaning?
Dry times are usually 8-10 hours. By increasing the air flow of the
room either with a fan or opening up the windows
the carpets could possible dry 1-2 hours earlier.
2) Can I walk on the carpets after they have
been cleaned?
Yes. CC Carpet will always leave shoe protectors with every customer.
You just tell the technician how many pairs you
need.
3) What do I have to do to get ready for my
carpets to be cleaned?
Move as many small objects and things out of the room or rooms to
be cleaned. Also, any breakables or items that could fall . A light
vacuum if the carpets are showing any dust or debris.
4) Will someone call to confirm my appointment?
Yes. We give a confirmation call a day before the job takes place.
5) What if a spot or stain comes back after
the cleaning?
If a stain is going to reappear it will usually occur within the
first week after the cleaning. We will reservice
the job in the same manner as we did the first time.
6) What is the difference between just pre-
spraying the carpet before the steam and scrubbing
it?
When a carpeted area is scrubbed , it cuts through the traffic areas
and heavy stains from the bottom of the carpet fiber up to the surface.
Pre-sprays might loosen certain spots but they have a harder time
with traffic lanes.
7) How often should I have my carpets
cleaned?
Regular maintenance for residential cus- tomers is usually once a
year ( depending on certain factors ; room use, pets, how many people
living in the home and age of carpet.)
8) Will anything be put under my furniture
after it has been moved?
Yes. Your technician will either put foam blocks for the heavier
furniture or plastic squares for the lighter pieces.
9) What stains if any just will not come out
with the cleaning?
There are some stains that will not come up with the cleaning of
ones carpets. They usually are bleach stains, dye stains furniture
stains and some makeup stains to name a few. That does not mean your
situation is hopeless. If there is some extra carpet around or you
don't mind our technicians taking some carpet out of a closet or a
fixed piece of furniture, a simple repair will fix the problem.
10) Should I be careful of too good to be true
offers?
There is that old saying; " You get what you pay for ".
Every company has a different pricing policy for what they do. You
should be careful of those companies that are maybe too cheap or too
expensive. What it comes down to is this: if you feel comfort- able
with the person answering your phone call, they have answered all
of your quest- ions promptly and accurately, you get an honest price
over the phone and the tech- nician does what they say they can do,
then you made a good choice with your carpet cleaner.
